    • Pet must have been in the household for at least one year.
    • Pets must be spayed or neutered.
    • Pets must be licensed in accordance with county laws.
    • Guardians may not acquire additional pets while receiving assistance.

    No spay/neuter for the following breeds:

    • Boston Terrier,
    • Old English Bulldog
    • French Bulldog
    • Japanese Chin
    • Pekingese
    • Pug

    SHARE Pet Care Assistance program:

    Not covered:

    • Open balances on existing veterinary bills.
    • Elective cosmetic surgeries
    • Declawing
    • Debarking
    • Pets brought into the household after acceptance into program.
    • Injuries or illnesses that result from a cat being allowed outside.

    • Financial assistance for emergency veterinary care.
    • Financial assistance for euthanasia.

    No assistance for routine treatment, vaccinations, or spay/neuter.
